SOFE is pleased to announce the sponsorship opportunities for the 2014 CDS, which takes place July 27- 30, at Loews Philadelphia Hotel in the historic and vibrant city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Those interested in sponsoring should submit the 2014 CDS Sponsorship form by February 24.
CRE Reporting for 2013 was due online January 31, 2014. Late reports are accepted via the CRE Late Reporting Form with the late filing fee until March 31. See details at the Certification Tab above.
Upon recommendation of the Examination Committee following a review of requirements for similar professional designation programs, the SOFE Executive Committee has instituted changes to the SOFE designation testing program. Effective July 1 2014. Please see details here
Testing is available 365 days a year using SOFE’s web based e-learning, certificate and testing site, developed with Test.com web based software. The site is where the CRE Reading Program tests are now offered as well as the AFE and CFE tests. Details here. Members may log in to the Members Only area to find additional information and link to the testing site.
You can report your 2014 CRE credit online as you earn it, and your current records will be updated automatically. How to File.-First review the Reporting Guide . -Where to file- Log into the Members Only area (tab top right, above) Once logged in, go to "Update Your Profile " and scroll to "Current CRE Reporting Cycle Details" and the "Add Credits " button. The filing deadline for 2014 credits is January 31, 2015.

It is with great sadness that SOFE reports the passing of Wanda LaPrath,CFE, friend and long time SOFE member,who since 2011 has served on the SOFE Board of Governors and on the Executive Committee as Vice President of Education.
Under Wanda's able leadership, the Education Committee initiated the online reporting system and made significant improvements in SOFE’s continuing regulatory education policies and procedures.
SOFE extends deepest condolences to Wanda’s family. She will be sorely missed by her many friends at SOFE.
