How to pay your SOFE 2016  membership dues:

1. Log in to the Members Only area of the website: (Red Tab at top right of your screen)
2. Click on "Renew Your Dues".
3. Once you have submitted your payment card information, print your emailed receipt for your records.

It is fast, easy, and you receive an instant receipt for your records; plus your credit card statement provides a further record of payment.

Be sure to pay your dues by March 31, 2016 to avoid suspension for nonpayment of dues.

SOFE Testing

CAVEAT— The only study guides for the SOFE tests are provided by SOFE and only on this website. All  SOFE test study guides are free and are  linked under the Testing Tab of this website. Beware of any other entities claiming to offer test preparation for SOFE tests. 

All SOFE testing is offered through the SOFE testing website at Test.com where the AFE, CFE and AES tests are offered as well as the CRE Reading Program tests. For information on SOFE testing and fees, go to the Testing tab above.

Late Reporting of 2015 CRE Credit is Due March 31, 2016

Reporting of 2015 CRE credits was due January 31, 2016. Late reports are accepted via the Late Reporting Form with the late fee until March 31, 2016.   Please see  the Important details on the CRE credit requirements at the 'Certification'  tab above. Also note on that page details on the ethics credit requirement that began in 2015.

Updated AFE 3 Test

The SOFE Examinations Committee revised the AFE 3 test to reflect the material covered in the Life and Accident and Health Insurance Accounting textbook,4th edition, 2001 and 2011 addendum.The study material may be purchased at a discounted price via the Actuarial Bookstore order form on the Testing page tabbed above, or purchased through IASA.
