Update on the Society's Management Company
Over the past year, the Executive Committee (at the instruction of the Board of Governors) conducted an extensive RFP process for the management services contract of SOFE. At the Board of Directors meeting on August 4th, the Board of Governors voted to award the management services contract to Drohan Management Group (DMG) out of Reston, Virginia for a two-year period ending December 2012. This contract is for management services only and over the next couple of months, SOFE will be transitioning to the new management company. This transition will include full transfer of services including, but not limited to data migrations, record transfers, and a new mailing address. SOFE will retain the toll free number from the past, 1-800-787-SOFE (7633). DMG's mailing address is 12100 Sunset Hills Road, Suite 130, Reston, VA 20190-3221. The main telephone number is 703-437-4377. Until further notice, please continue to contact Paula or Jeanne for any of your needs. This includes test registrations, payments, emails and faxes.
Both management companies and the executive committee are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible. If at any time you have a question or recommendations to improve the Society, please do not hesitate to contact me or any member of the Board of Governors.
