Most exam projects are located in the Portland, OR, metro area, but candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% of time, both in state and out of state. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire examination section, including planning and coordination of examinations, budget issues and personnel issues. Candidate should have three or more years of professional experience in accounting, examining, analyzing or auditing financial statements, supervisory experience, and either a Certified Financial Examiner designation or a Certified Public Accountant designation. Preference will be given to candidates that have a Certified Financial Examiner designation and/or experience with the National Association of Insurance Commissioner's risk-focused examination process.
